1. Cheyenne Woods wins in Australia: I should have led with "Woods wins Masters" but I didn't want to bait you into clicking even though it's technically true. That's because Cheyenne Woods (Tiger's niece) won the Australian Masters over the weekend.
She even got a shout from her uncle on Twitter:

The win was Woods' first on either the LPGA or Ladies European Tour and, you couldn't help but think, a harbinger of things to come.
2. Is Jimmy Walker elite? That's a tongue-in-cheek jab at the persistent NFL narrative regarding quarterbacks becasuse I have no idea if Walker is elite, but I know his streak right now is barely with precedent. Walker won for the third time in eight events this season and moved to No. 24 in the world.
3. Tiger Woods is barely playing: I hate to turn the story to Cheyenne's uncle but this PGA Tour season has lacked the punch of seasons gone by as Woods announced he will only have played one of the first 14 events of the season before the Honda Classic.

Jimmy Walker earned $1.18 million which brings his total for the season to $3.6 million. Only one other golfer (Dustin Johnson has made more than $2 million.
George Coetzee earned $280,928 for his efforts in winning the Joburg Open.
