Hero World Challenge leaderboard: Tiger Woods shines, Dustin Johnson leads
Round 2 highlights, scores and results from the Bahamas
Tiger Woods set the golf world on fire with a 65 in the second round of the Hero World Challenge to slide into a tie for ninth at the halfway point in the Bahamas. He is now only six shots off the lead but has several golfers in front of him still to pass. His round was not the round of the day, however, as Bubba Watson (63) and Brandt Snedker (64) both squeaked in front of him.
Here is a look at your current top five on the leaderboard.
T1. Dustin Johnson (12 under) -- I think Johnson is going to win this thing because of the fact that there are five par 5s and Johnson murders par 5s. He is 9 under on the par 5s this week and hitting it like a boss. The following sequence came at a par 4, but it is still a complete joke. D.J. is locked in.

T1. Hideki Matsuyama (12 under) -- Matsuyama stumbled a little bit late with a bogey on the par-3 17th or the lead would be his outright. It's going to be a ball-striking extravaganza between him and Johnson in the final pairing on Saturday.
T3. Matt Kuchar (10 under) -- Kuchar is tied for first this week with 13 birdies. Coincidentally, that is also how many different colors he was sporting with his scripting on Friday. Kuchar has been in the top three almost since he teed off in his first round on Thursday, and I see no reason he won't keep that up throughout the weekend.
T3. Louis Oosthuizen (10 under) -- Oosthuizen had a card as clean as his swing on Friday with five birdies and no bogeys. You could not find two more different swings than his and Kuchar's. That Saturday pairing will be a solid one.
5. Bubba Watson (9 under) -- The defending champion Watson played the par 5s in 6 under (!) on Friday on his way to that 63 I mentioned earlier. I think it's fair to say with him, Johnson and J.B. Holmes in contention that this place is a bomber's paradise.
