The Texas Open is not part of a Texas swing this season but a one-off before the PGA Tour heads back east to New Orleans and Charlotte. This week's event should be a good one though with Phil Mickelson and friends in attendance.

Let's go Inside the Numbers to preview this event.

2.5 -- Strokes over par per round the Texas Open played in 2015. It was the most difficult non-major course on PGA Tour last season, according to Golf Channel.

1 -- Texas Open ranks No. 1 in longest-tenured PGA Tour events in the same city. It dates back to 1922.

$500,000 -- Is roughly how much more money Bryson DeChambeau needs to earn to get his PGA Tour card for the 2016-17 season. That's something to keep an eye on for the rest of the season.

16 -- Strokes Kevin Na took on the par-4 ninth here in 2011. It is the second-worst score on a par 4 in PGA Tour history.

19 -- Is the combined ranking of strokes gained putting and strokes gained tee to green for Phil Mickelson. That's the best of anybody on the PGA Tour. He also still leads the PGA Tour in adjusted scoring average.
