Kevin Na took a chainsaw to the site of his infamous 16 on the ninth hole at last year's Valero Texas Open. (PGA Tour)
Kevin Na might be best known for his slow play, but it appears his sense of humor is nothing short of fast.

A year ago at the Valero Texas Open, Kevin Na made a 16 on the par-4 ninth, famously counting up his strokes as he stolled up the fairway after hacking for what seemed like hours from inside a tree.

It is the highest score ever recorded on a hole, and is something that will follow Na around his entire career, despite the fact that he only shot 80 in that opening round (just think, he was 12-over on just one hole, so played the rest of his round 4-under).

Na is hosting "Inside the PGA Tour" this week and decided to have a little fun with the tree that added a lot of grief to his 2011 Texas Open and even more strokes.

On Monday, the 28-year-old went back to the site of his travails with a chainsaw, as you see above, saying they wanted to have some fun with the 16 from a year ago, cutting down some branches as most any of us would like to do after a terrible hole.

The best part about all this? Na is actually on a short list of favorites this week to win, which would be some incredible justice if you ask me.

Roy McAvoy would be proud.
