Self-described 'lazy' Japanese man tried to caddie for Adam Scott
If you didn't submit an application to caddie for Adam Scott, it might be time to reevaluate some things.

Adam Scott is back playing the PGA Tour with a new putter, a new daughter and a new caddie. When Scott announced last year that he and Steve Williams were going separate ways, the applications to caddie for him started pouring in.
Scott ended up going with Thorbjorn Olesen's caddie but said he had sort through a lot of muck and mire to get there.
Here's Jason Sobel for Golf Channel earlier this week on Scott's quest:
"There was a letter from a Japanese guy – and apparently he's related to the royal family over there – but even in his letter, he says he's extremely lazy. I can't even remember the whole thing. But I've kept it, because it's just too good. And he included a picture of himself.
"A guy here in Florida, also, sent in a picture of himself – big strong guy, looks like he works out, muscle man kind of thing and lives with his 85-year-old mother. He made a point of telling me that, as well, in the application. But unfortunately, those ones were unsuccessful for them."
The letter from the Japanese guy killed me. "I'm lazy, but let me caddie for you...please." That is just the best. I can't even imagine Scott's face when he saw that.
These are the adversities you have to face when you pay somebody hundreds of thousands of dollars to carry a bag of metal for you, though. Such is life.
