Abraham Almonte returns to lineup Wednesday

Padres outfielder Abraham Almonte is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies.

Almonte hasn't been able to start since Sept. 6 while recovering from an ankle sprain, though he did appear as a pinch hitter this past weekend. He owns a .232/.278/.333 line with three home runs, 15 RBI and four stolen bases in 198 at-bats.
