Blue Jays' Matt Boyd called up from Triple-A, will start Saturday

Following Friday's 10-2 victory, the Blue Jays announced they have called up left-hander Matt Boyd from Triple-A Buffalo. Boyd will make his Major League debut and start on Saturday against the Rangers.
Boyd was a sixth-round draft pick by the Blue Jays in 2013. He has split time between Double-A and Triple-A this season, posting a combined 1.26 ERA in 14 starts. He also owns a 82:18 K:BB ratio in 85 2/3 innings.
To clear room on the 25-man roster, left-hander Rob Rasmussen has been optioned to Triple-A
