Brewers first baseman Corey Hart had surgery on his right knee in January and on his left knee in July, and trainer Dan Wright said Thursday that Hart is nearly fully recovered from his right knee surgery, the Journal Sentinel reports.
"He's doing very well," said Wright. "I can tell you with regard to the right knee, about two weeks postsurgery with the left knee, he said the right knee feels good enough that I could probably play on it right now. Since we had to take time to have the left knee surgery, we throttled back on some of the other things because you can't do the full activity. But he's progressing very well."
Hart, who is a free agent this offseason, is expected to be ready for spring training.
