Cubs considering two Iowa pitchers for Tuesday start

Triple-A Iowa left-hander Tsuyoshi Wada and righty Dallas Beeler are receiving consideration to be promoted by the Cubs for the nightcap of the Tuesday doubleheader against Cincinnati.

Beeler has a bit of a track record after pitching six shutout innings in his only major league start this season. Wada has also been impressiving, posting a 9-5 record and 2.66 ERA at the Triple-A level with 105 strikeouts in 101 2/3 innings.
