The Cubs have made a slew of moves in the wake of their placement of reliever Neil Ramirez (abdominal) on the disabled list.
The team has recalled right-handed relievers Ben Rowen and Yoervis Medina from Triple-A Iowa and optioned starter Dallas Beeler.
Beeler certainly didn't earn his stay. He compiled an ugly 9.72 ERA in three starts.
