Cubs pitcher Dallas Beeler took a loss Wednesday after giving up four earned runs on six hits and four walks in five innings with no strikeouts in his team's 4-1 defeat against the Reds.
Beeler (0-2) did a solid job in his debut on June 26, giving up just an uneared run but still coming away with a loss. He was less sharp Wednesday, giving up three runs in his fifth and final inning to put his team down 4-1. Beeler owns a 3.27 ERA and 6:7 K:BB ratio in 11 innings over his two starts.
