Is the misfortune of last season carrying over already for the Twins?

With Scott Baker (elbow injury) and Jason Marquis (on a minor-league rehab assignment) out of the picture, Liam Hendriks was set to join the starting rotation, at least temporarily. His first start was scheduled for Sunday, but instead Hendriks has been taken to the hospital with food poisoning. Anthony Swarzak will get the nod instead, taking on the Orioles (startribune.com).

Hendriks was taken to a hospital Friday night and is reportedly expected to be released Sunday morning. The 23-year-old was 0-2 with a 6.17 ERA last season but impressed Twins brass this spring, putting him in line to take Baker's vacated spot in the rotation.
