Pirates starter Jeff Locke prepared for his season debut by throwing 91 pitches over six innings in an extended spring game Tuesday, MLB.com reports.
Locke will make his first start on Sunday against the Dodgers.
The left-hander went 3-1 with a 2.63 ERA in seven outings during the spring.
