Jon Gray throws two scoreless innings in spring debut

Rockies pitching prospect Jon Gray allowed two hits and one walk while striking out two in two scoreless innings in his team's 8-1 loss to the Mariners Monday.

Gray was rated a top-15 prospect by both Baseball America and MLB.com this offseason and could make his MLB debut later this year if he progresses quickly. He went 4-0 with a 1.93 ERA in nine starts between two levels last season.
