Josh Beckett set to make Wednesday's start

Dodgers pitcher Josh Beckett is set to make his season debut Wednesday against the Tigers, TrueBlueLA.com reports.

Plans could still change if Beckett encounters a setback before gametime Wednesday, but he looks like he's finally ready to return from ankle and thumb issues. Beckett made just eight starts with the Dodgers last season, going 0-5 with a 5.19 ERA and 41:13 K:BB ratio in 43 1/3 innings.
