Dodgers pitcher Josh Beckett has yet to resume throwing after going on the disabled list in early August with a hip impingement, MLB.com reports.

"At this point, he's been out a little bit," manager Don Mattingly said Tuesday. "It's going to take him awhile before he can start throwing. Once that happens, it's going to take him a little while to get built up. Is there going to be enough time? I'm not sure."

It's looking more and more likely that Beckett won't be able to return to the mound this season, though the team has yet to rule him out officially.
