Juan Carlos Oviedo DFA'd by Rays

The Rays have designated pitcher Juan Carlos Oviedo for assignment Saturday, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Oviedo has not pitched since July 19. He posted a 3.69 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP over 31 2/3 innings of relief this season.
