Keith Butler optioned to Triple-A Memphis

Cardinals reliever Keith Butler has been optioned to Triple-A Memphis Monday.

The team has not announced a corresponding move, but Butler won't play until Friday. He will be replaced in the bullpen by Joe Kelly, at least the first time through the rotation post-All Star break. Butler has appeared in 12 games, with a 1.98 ERA.
