Cardinals starter Lance Lynn tossed a quality start on Sunday against the Cubs, but the bullpen squandered a late lead, preventing him from his fifth victory.

Lynn yielded two-run single to Jason Hammel in the fourth inning for his only blemish of the night. He permitted two runs on three hits and four walks while striking out five over six innings of a 5-4 win. He tossed 102 pitches, 64 for strikes in a no-decision.

Following the win at Wrigley Field, Lynn lowered his ERA to 3.51 with a 45:15 K:BB ratio over 41 innings pitched. He'll look for his fifth win on Saturday at home against Pittsburgh. He is 1-0 with a 6.55 ERA in two starts at home.
