Luis Jimenez exits with thumb contusion

Angels infielder Luis Jimenez was forced out of Saturday's contest against the Rangers with a right thumb contusion.

Jimenez sustained the injury in the fourth inning when he was hit by a pitch but didn't leave until the sixth inning. He went 1 for 2 with a run scored and was replaced by Andrew Romine. He is listed as day to day.
