Luis Jimenez sits out another one

Angels third baseman Luis Jimenez was held out of the starting lineup Tuesday night at Oakland as he continues to deal with a thumb injury. He has missed 10 straight games because of the injury.

Jimenez batted .314/.342/.400 in 35 at-bats since rejoining the Angels in late August.
