Luke Scott starting rehab Wednesday

Rays designated hitter Luke Scott (back) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Times reports. The Rays are hoping Scott can make it back Sept. 1. Scott is batting .249 with nine homers and 39 RBI over 237 at-bats this season.
