Mark Ellis gets two hits in return to lineup

Dodgers second baseman Mark Ellis, who missed his team's final game before the break with a leg injury, returned to the lineup in Friday's 3-2 win over the Nationas. He went 2 for 4 to raise his season line to .260/.310/.336 with four home runs, 26 RBI and three stolen bases in 235 at-bats.
