An MRI on the injured ankle of Rangers pitcher Joe Saunders shows he dealing with a bone bruise, FOX Sports Southwest reports.

Saunders threw a bullpen session Wednesday and experienced more pain in the ankle. He'll be shut down for a few days before attempting to throw again.
