BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Norichika Aoki, whose $5.5-million option was declined by the Giants, is fully healthy now after suffering a concussion late in the year.

The Giants, who very much liked Aoki, wanted flexibility as they enter the winter. But Aoki, who had a big first half, is ready to sign somewhere and play. "He feels great. He has been cleared medically," agent Nez Balelo said. "He's 100 percent."

Aoki was batting .317 with a. 383 on-base percentage in 67 games last year before missing time after fouling a ball off his foot.

Overall, Aoki imporoved in all percentage categories in 2015. He has a. 321 career batting average vs. lefthanders as a lefty hitter. He has a 4.1 UZR over his past three seasons and an 8.7 WAR over his four seasons.
