Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton went 4 for 5 with an RBI in his first rehab appearance with Double-A Frisco. Hamilton, who is currently on the 15-day DL with a shoulder injury, is scheduled to play again on Sunday, get an off-day Monday and play again Tuesday and Wednesday.
Hamilton is trying make sure he can hit the same against lefty and righty pitchers, according to MLB.com.
"Don't go up there trying to feel for it and thinking about timing or thinking about mechanics or anything like that," Hamilton said. "Just go play. I did that and I felt like myself last night. Hopefully I can do that again.
"It's crazy to put a number on at-bats. It really is. It's all a feel thing, but if I have three or four games like I did last night, I could really be ready."
