Rays outfielder Desmond Jennings will have his injured knee scoped on Wednesday, according to the Tampa Bay Times

Jennings has been dealing with the knee ailment since early this season and was placed on the disabled list on April 25. He played in an extended spring training game last Monday.

The scope will be for exploratory purposes to see if anything else is going on inside the knee. If no new damage is found, manager Kevin Cash said the timeline to return will be three to four weeks in a best-case scenario
