Red Sox's Blake Swihart extends hit streak to seven games

Red Sox catcher Blake Swihart went 1 for 4 in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers to extend his hitting streak to seven games.

Swihart has recorded a hit in eight straight games in which he's recorded an at-bat, and after going 4 for 32 to open his career he has hit .308/.341/.333 in 39 at-bats over his last 12 games. He's managed just one extra-base hit (a double) this season and hasn't homered in the majors or minors in 2015 after racking up 13 home runs last season.
