Report: Kyle Blanks could be on verge of being traded

Padres first baseman Kyle Blanks could be "on the move" soon, MLBDailyDish.com reports, adding that the Athletics are a possibility as a landing spot.

Blanks is 2 for 10 in five games with the Padres this season. Manager Bud Black said last week that he was on the verge of giving Blanks more playing time at first base.
