And when you do tune in to the rather excellent race, baseball fans will see the wives of two players competing together. Cubs Nationals Rays outfielder David DeJesus' wife, Kim, and Royals second baseman Chris Getz's wife, Nicky.

I'll be rooting for Team Nicky and Kim. Gotta show allegiance to anything relating to baseball after all. Plus, my natural male instincts draw me to the insane beauty of Kim (I'm in the minority, I think, in favoring brunettes to blondes), so it's a win-win, really.
