The Yankees added catcher Gary Sanchez, outfielder Slade Heathcott and pitchers Jose Campos, Shane Greene and Bryan Mitchell to the 40-man roster Wednesday while also outrighting infielder Corban Joseph to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Sanchez hit .253/.324/.412 with 15 home runs and 71 RBI in 454 at-bats between high Class A Tampa and Double-A Trenton. Heathcott hit .261/.327/.411 with eight home runs, 49 RBI and 15 stolen bases in 399 at-bats with Double-A Trenton.
Campos went 4-2 with a 3.41 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 77:16 K:BB ratio in 87 innings for Class A Charleston. Greene went 12-10 with a 3.38 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 137:30 K:BB ratio in 154 1/3 innings between high Class A Tampa and Double-A Trenton. Mitchell went 4-11 with a 5.12 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 104:53 K:BB ratio in 126 2/3 innings for high Class A Tampa while allowing four earned runs in 18 2/3 innings over three Double-A starts.
Joseph went 1 for 6 in two appearances with the Yankees while hitting .239/.329/.383 with six home runs and 19 RBI in 188 at-bats with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
