Scott Lauber@ScottLauber9H agoSince the third wild card was added in 2022, 13 teams had an 8-18 stretch and still made the playoffs. The 2024 Phillies went 8-18 from July 12 to Aug. 13. Also: DET & CLE in ‘25; NYY, DET, KC, NYM & HOU in ‘24; ARI & MIA in ‘23; TB, NYY & SEA in ‘22.
