Atlanta Motor Speedway won't have any fans in attendance on Sunday for the 2020 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500, but the loaded 40-driver NASCAR at Atlanta field means that racing fans and bettors will still get plenty of excitement. The green flag drops at 3 p.m. ET. There will be no qualifying and no practice, so the 2020 QuikTrip 500 starting lineup was determined by random draw, and household names like Joey Logano, Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney will all start inside the top 12.

Kevin Harvick has two NASCAR Cup Series wins in Atlanta and is the current points leader, which is why he's the 7-2 favorite in the latest 2020 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 odds at William Hill. Meanwhile, defending champion Kyle Busch has gotten off to a tough start this season with no wins, but he's also won twice in Atlanta and could jump-start his season with a win. The current 2020 NASCAR at Atlanta odds list Busch at 13-2. Before making your 2020 QuikTrip 500 picks, be sure to see the 2020 NASCAR at Atlanta predictions and projected leaderboard from SportsLine's proven model.

Developed by daily Fantasy pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary NASCAR prediction model simulates every race 10,000 times, taking into account factors such as track history and recent results.

The model began the 2020 NASCAR season by picking Denny Hamlin to win his second consecutive Daytona 500 at 10-1. It got off to a hot start on its NASCAR picks following the coronavirus hiatus as well, calling seven of the top 10 drivers at The Real Heroes 400 and the Toyota 500 at Darlington. It also identified six top-10 drivers at the Alsco Uniforms 500 at Charlotte. Using the model, McClure also recommended an outright play on winner Brad Keselowski at 13-1 as one of his best bets at Bristol. Anybody who has followed it has seen huge returns.

Now, the model simulated NASCAR at Atlanta 2020 on Sunday, June 7, 10,000 times. Head here to see the complete projected leaderboard.

Top 2020 QuikTrip 500 predictions

For the 2020 QuikTrip 500 on Sunday, the model is high on Kurt Busch, even though he's a massive 20-1 long shot in the latest Atlanta NASCAR odds 2020. He's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday. Like his younger brother, Busch has had plenty of success in Atlanta Motor Speedway. He's a three-time winner at the track and has made the top 10 in his last four races at the steeply-banked 1.5-mile oval.

Busch has also been running extremely well since starting the season with a crash at Daytona and a disappointing 25th-place finish in Las Vegas. He's recorded top-10 finishes in six of his last seven races. Plus, his 1.5-mile setup was dialed in at Charlotte, with a seventh-place finish in which he led 54 laps as well as a fifth-place performance.

And a massive shocker: Alex Bowman, one of the top Vegas favorites at 15-2, stumbles big-time and doesn't even crack the top ten in the Folds of Honor 500. Bowman and his Hendrick Motorsports team dialed in their speedway setup last season to help the 26-year-old capture his first career NASCAR Cup Series win at Chicagoland. They also snagged a second win earlier this season at Fontana.

However, Bowman has finished 18th or worse in his last four starts and even struggled at Charlotte despite leading 215 total laps over the course of the two races there. Bowman has never finished better than 15th in four career starts in Atlanta, making him extremely overvalued heading into the 2020 QuikTrip 500.

How to make 2020 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 picks

The model is also targeting three other drivers with NASCAR at Atlanta odds of 12-1 or longer to make a serious run at the checkered flag, including a massive long shot. Anyone who backs these drivers could hit it big. You can only see them here.
