The 2022 Wise Power 400 will take place on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. It's the first time the NASCAR Cup Series has been in Fontana since 2020 because of the pandemic and will be the first time the track has welcomed the new "Next-Gen" car. Ford was the dominant manufacturing force in the first official race in the Next-Gen car, with eight of the top 10 in the 2022 Daytona 500 wearing the Ford badge. Should you bank on the trend continuing when you finalize your NASCAR DFS strategy?

Now, NASCAR DFS players will have to decide if Ford has the upper hand or if the superspeedway setup gave them success. Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolets have won the last two NASCAR Cup Series championships and stars like Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson could be popular options in NASCAR DFS lineups. Before locking in any NASCAR DFS picks for the 2022 Wise Power 400, be sure to check out the optimal NASCAR at the Fontana DFS strategy and advice from SportsLine's Mike McClure

McClure has won almost $2 million in his career as a daily Fantasy pro, and his NASCAR DFS driver pool, projections and advice can help you score a big win on Sunday.

McClure's top NASCAR DFS picks produced in a big way during the 2021 NASCAR season. His model, which simulates every race 10,000 times, called seven outright winners last year, including five of Kyle Larson's wins. It also was high on Kyle Busch at the 2022 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum where he went on to finish second. Anybody who has followed his picks has seen some huge returns.

Now, he's turned his attention to Sunday's 2022 Wise Power 400. He's only sharing his picks and NASCAR DFS driver pool here.

Top 2022 Wise Power 400 NASCAR DFS picks

For NASCAR at Fontana, we can tell you McClure is high on Martin Truex Jr. The 2017 NASCAR Cup Series champion continues to be a factor on a yearly basis at 41, finishing runner-up in three of the four years since he won his championship.

Truex finished 13th last week at Daytona, but he led 11 laps and won both stages, leaving him third in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series standings after a race. He's also had plenty of success at Fontana Speedway, winning the 2018 Auto Club 400 after leading 125 of the 200 laps and finishing in the top 10 in three of his last four starts there.

Part of McClure's optimal NASCAR DFS strategy also includes rostering Joey Logano. Cindric's teammate at Penske finished 21st last week at Daytona but generally ran well, leading a lap and collecting stage points to enter the second race of the season sitting 11th in the NASCAR standings.

Logano doesn't have a victory at Auto Club Speedway but he's been extremely close on a number of occasions. He's finished in the top five in six of his 14 career starts there, including a runner-up finish in 2019. Logano has now finished in the top five in four of his last five starts in Fontana.

How to set 2022 NASCAR Fontana DFS lineups

McClure is also targeting an undervalued driver set to return plenty of value. He's in a prime position to make a run at the checkered flag and comes at a price that won't break the bank. You can see who it is, and every other pick, right here.
