The right foot is the same foot that suffered the Jones fracture last season, which wound up costing him almost the entire 2014-15 campaign. That fracture impacted his little toe, so it's an entirely different part of the foot, but that's enough to cause some concern because of the strong issues with re-injury.
The Thunder will likely be hyper-cautious with the injury, after Durant suffered a second fracture of the foot last year when pushed back too soon. This is just a sprain, and it's an entirely different injury, but it's Kevin Durant so you want to err on the side of caution. Additionally, this is the second injury that's given Durant problems this season after a hamstring strain caused him to miss several weeks.
Durant is averaging 26.6 points per game this season with 7.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists per contest. The Thunder are 15 net points per 100 possessions better with Durant on the floor vs. off.
