Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans will miss three to five weeks due to a strained right hamstring, The Times Picayune reports.
"Tyreke injured his hamstring playing pickup basketball out of town last week," general manager Dell Demps said in a statement."He is back in New Orleans rehabbing with our medical staff."
Evans underwent arthroscopic surgery on his knee last May as well. He's questionable to be ready for the start of the regular season.
