  • Heat's Pelle Larsson: Iffy for Saturday

Larsson is questionable for Saturday's game against Minnesota with a right ankle sprain. Saturday could be a second consecutive absence for Larsson. If he doesn't play, Nikola Jovic (elbow), who's probable, would likely pick up a few extra minutes.

  • Heat's Pelle Larsson: Won't travel with team

Larsson (ankle) did not practice Wednesday and won't travel to Detroit for Thursday's game, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Larsson will miss Thursday's contest due to a sprained right ankle he sustained in Monday's win over Denver. His next opportunity to suit up will come Saturday in Miami against the Timberwolves. With the second-year swingman sidelined, Dru Smith and Jaime Jaquez are candidates for an uptick in minutes Thursday.

  • Heat's Pelle Larsson: Exits to locker room

Larsson exited to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Monday's game against the Nuggets due to an apparent right ankle injury, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Larsson stepped on an opposing player's foot and twisted his ankle before limping to the locker room. If the second-year swingman is unable to return, Jaime Jaquez and Dru Smith are candidates for increased minutes the rest of the way.

  • Heat's Pelle Larsson: Not starting Monday

Larsson is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Nuggets. Larsson scored 21 and 16 points in starts against the Hawks and Pacers on a back-to-back set Friday and Saturday, but he's moving back to the bench due to the return of Bam Adebayo to the first unit. Larsson is averaging 3.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game when coming off the bench this season.

  • Heat's Pelle Larsson: Probable to play Friday

Larsson (ankle) is listed as probable for Friday's game against Atlanta. Larsson appears poised to return from a five-game absence due to a left ankle sprain. He averaged 21.9 minutes per game before his injury absence, so his return will likely eat into the playing time of Jaime Jaquez and Simone Fontecchio.

Larsson is out for Tuesday's game against the Raptors due to a sprained left ankle. Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. • Heat's Pelle Larsson: Remains listed as out

Larsson is out for Friday's game against the Celtics due to a sprained left ankle. The Heat announced Dec. 10 that Larsson could miss up to two weeks with the injury, so it seems fair to label him as week-to-week. Until Miami updates Larsson's timetable for a return, Simone Fontecchio has one less obstacle to overcome for playing time in the frontcourt.

He finished with two points (1-2 FG), two rebounds and one assist over 11 minutes. The Heat will determine the severity of the injury Wednesday, and his next chance to play comes Monday against the loser of the Knicks vs. Raptors matchup Tuesday.

Larsson will come off the bench for Friday's game against the Magic, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. The Heat will be going with a jumbo lineup featuring Kel'el Ware and Bam Adebayo in the frontcourt for Friday's game, but Larsson should still see quality minutes in the rotation with Tyler Herro (toe) unavailable. Larsson is averaging 9.4 points, 3.4 assists and 1.1 triples per contest this season.

  • Heat's Pelle Larsson: All-around effort in win

Larsson amassed six points (2-13 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 2-5 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Sunday's 127-117 victory over the 76ers. Although Larsson's shot was not falling Sunday, he dished a season-high eight assists and tied his season high in rebounds. Larsson continues to find ways to contribute other than scoring, but he may be ousted from the starting lineup when Tyler Herro (ankle) returns to action this week.

  • Heat's Pelle Larsson: Comes close to double-double

Larsson produced 13 points (4-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes during Monday's 115-113 win over New York. Larsson seems to have found a role in Miami's starting lineup, as this was his 11th straight start, and the second-year guard out of Arizona is finding ways to make an impact even if he's struggled with consistency on a game-to-game basis. Larsson has scored in double digits in seven of those 11 contests, and he seems to be getting in a groove from deep as well -- he's on a run of three straight games draining at least two three-pointers. If he stays dialed in from beyond the arc, that will open up his opportunities to contribute regularly on offense.

Larsson (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Hornets, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. Larsson is battling an illness, which made him a late addition to the injury report. The forward should continue to start, considering he's played in the first unit in five consecutive games.
