Draft Scouting Report:
Rating: 77.70 (Chance to start)
Pro Comparison: Sam Tevi
Strengths:
Quick first step with great top-end speed. Good overall athleticism. Controlled into pass protection. Does a good job sealing backside pursuit in zone. Great size. Able to create torque with his lower body. Allows defenders to work away from play side.
Weaknesses:
Would like to see him show some variance in his punch timing. Hand usage and adjustment once engaged can improve.
Accolades:
- 2021: AP FCS All-America first team
- 2021: Three sacks allowed on 442 pass blocking snaps
