Adam Vinatieri continues to be a beast in the clutch, sets OT record
Adam Vinatieri is still out there banging out 50-yard field goals.
Panthers fans are going to have nightmares about Adam Vinatieri. The same guy who beat them in the franchise's only Super Bowl appearance -- Super Bowl XXXVIII -- is somehow still out on the field hammering field goals back.
On Monday night, after the Colts stormed back from a 17-point deficit to take the Panthers to overtime, Indy got possession first in the extra period and managed to get Vinatieri within range for a 50-yard attempt.
Because he's the most clutch human in history, Vinatieri buried it. It made him the most clutch kicker in history, with 10 overtime field goals.

He actually supplanted the father of our own John Breech, one Jim Breech, who, along with several others, had nine overtime field goals.
