The Cowboys will face the Giants on Wednesday night without Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jay Ratliff, who has missed all week of practice with a high ankle sprain. Ratliff has been listed as “out” on the injury report. Josh Brent will likely start in his place.
TE Jason Witten is doubtful to play with a lacerated spleen injury. He visited the doctor early Tuesday morning for a scheduled appointment. It’s expected Witten will make the trip Tuesday afternoon and will be a game-time decision. John Phillips and rookie James Hanna should get more playing time if Witten doesn’t play.
Cornerback Mike Jenkins is questionable after missing all of the offseason with a shoulder injury that required rotator cuff surgery. Jenkins returned to practice on Sunday.
Safety Danny McCray is doubtful to play with a stinger injury.
