It appears Steelers Nation basically took over the MNF game in San Diego
It was an away game for the Steelers, but it sure seemed like a home game, even though they were playing all the way in San Diego.
The Steelers' wild walk-off win over the Chargers on Monday night will be marked down as a road win, but it hardly seemed like an away game for the Steelers. Instead, Steelers nation proved just how well they travel, unless San Diego just happens to be where thousands upon thousands of Steelers fans reside.
At first glance, the crowd at Qualcomm Stadium didn't seem to be filled with too many Steelers fans.

But after taking a closer look, it's clear just how much of the stadium Steelers nation occupied.

After it was announced that Le'Veon Bell's walk-off touchdown stood following an official review, a loud cheer erupted in the Chargers' building. Then, at his press conference, Mike Tomlin immediately thanked Steelers nation for showing up in full force all the way in San Diego.
He wasn't wrong.
