Lions shuffle Xavier Proctor from defensive to offensive tackle

Xavier Proctor was a defensive tackle for the Lions, until he no longer was. He didn't get cut, the Lions moved Proctor from defensive tackle to offensive tackle before the start of organized team activities on Thursday, per mlive.com.

Proctor has spent the last two years learning the defensive tackle position as a member of the Lions practice squad, but the move comes at a time where the team needs more able bodies at the offensive line position after an injury to LaAdrian Waddle.
