No matter how tough you think you are, you're not as tough as Bud Grant. The former Vikings coach, now 88 years young, showed the world how much grit he's got in grand fashion on Sunday afternoon.

Despite below freezing temperatures at the Vikings-Seahawks game -- it was -6 degrees at kickoff but NBC reported it felt like -25 -- Grant went out to midfield in short sleeves.

Grant didn't just show up to the stadium in short sleeves because that's what he was wearing that day.

He was there to send a MESSAGE.

Per Greg Aiello of the NFL, Grant told a staffer (who looks a lot like Roger Goodell!) to hold his coat before going out on the field.

Grant's got the resume to dish out the hard-nosed cold-weather talk.

He played college football in Minnesota and was a first-round NFL Draft pick in 1950 AND a fourth-round draft pick in the NBA that season. Grant coached the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL for nearly a decade and the Vikings from 1967 through 1983 (and again in 1985).

He is a million times tougher than everyone else.
