LOOK: Cam Newton's cleats are the heroes America needs
The Panthers quarterback usually goes superhero with his cleats but it's stars and stripes on Saturday
The 2015 season was an MVP year for Cam Newton and an MVP year for his fashion too. Newton debuted any number of wild outfits throughout the season, including a wild collection of fancy dress shoes.
He also upped his game on the field during warmups, consistently wearing custom Under Armour cleats while warming up. Sometimes it was Superman, sometimes it was Batman and sometimes it was gold MVP cleats.
That's a trend that continued into the 2016 season, as Cam showed out for the Week 2 preseason game against the Titans by rocking some star-studded cleats.

Newton also carried over his play into the preseason against the Titans. He came out of the gate hot against Tennessee, completing 8-of-12 passes in limited first-half action, throwing for 162 yards and a touchdown, a 61-yard strike to Ted Ginn that helped show off the receiver's afterburners.
