LOOK: Jerry Jones hit in the head by a football helmet thrown by a fan
Signing autographs can sometimes be a contact sport, as the Cowboys owner found out
Jerry Jones must get asked to sign autographs all the time. We're guessing he's rarely required to catch a flying Cowboys helmet prior to doing so, but here's the Dallas owner and general manager in Levi's Stadium doing just that before Sunday's game against the 49ers.
And just so we're clear: Yes, somebody -- in the stands, mind you -- chucked a helmet at a 73-year-old man. It's unclear if the helmet toss was malicious or otherwise, but gravity doesn't care about such things:

We're inclined to think the fan's intentions were good because two Cowboys' baseball caps were also thrown in Jones' direction. For the record, he didn't come close to catching any of them.
