Mike Mitchell is 'going to hit every single guy in the knee' going forward
Steelers safety Mike Mitchell is frustrated with getting flagged for hitting receivers high.

Steelers safety Mike Mitchell was flagged for unnecessary roughness in the first quarter of Saturday's wild-card matchup against the Ravens after hitting wide receiver Jacoby Jones in the head. Baltimore would score a touchdown on the drive and go on to win, 30-17.
After the game, Mitchell expressed his frustration with the call, and his plans for making tackles going forward.
“I don’t know what they want us to do, man,” Mitchell said, via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “I am going to hit every single guy in the knee from here on out. I am getting tired of it. It’s ridiculous. You can’t change where you are aiming on a guy once you shot your shot. If you look at that play, the dude is trying to go down as the ball is coming. I can’t re-aim my body. This is full speed, tackle football. I will hit everybody in the knee from here on out to avoid that.”
If those words sound familiar they should. Here's Mitchell back in September, after he was flagged for hitting Ravens wideout Steve Smith in the head.
"It's going to make me start hitting everyone in the knees, to be totally honest with you," the safety said at the time.
"It's not a thing where I am trying to play dirty, but I was legitimately aiming for Steve's waist, and he ducked. If you look at the replay, I still truly, strongly believe it was a shoulder-to-shoulder hit. I think the violence of the hit may be why the flag was thrown."
