NFL Super Bowl odds update: Rams, Seahawks remain favorites, but Patriots, Jaguars surge after Week 16
Here's a look at the latest Super Bowl odds for every team after Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season

The NFC West remains the class of the NFL as the playoff picture continues to come into focus entering Week 17. The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks are the favorites to win the Super Bowl in February, with L.A. remaining the top choice but Seattle closing the gap. The Seahawks' improbable comeback and 38-37 overtime victory against the Rams on Thursday Night Football didn't fully sway oddsmakers, but Seattle could end up the top seed and be favored depending on results in the final two weeks. The New England Patriots rallying to beat the Ravens also had a major impact on their odds to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, with Baltimore now a serious longshot and New England one of the top choices from the AFC.
Here's a look at the latest Super Bowl odds ahead of Week 17.

Notable moves
With their loss to the Patriots after holding an 11-point lead early in the fourth quarter, the Ravens (7-8) are a long shot to win the AFC North, and thus earn a playoff spot. The Steelers (9-6) beat the Lions on Sunday Night Football and hold a two-game lead in the AFC North. The Ravens visit Pittsburgh in Week 18, but the Steelers can clinch the division with a victory against the Browns on Sunday. The Lions (8-7) also saw their playoff hopes tumble, as the Colts and Panthers are the only longer shots.
Carolina (8-7) saw its odds improve from +25000 to +15000 by beating Tampa Bay. The Bucs (7-8) went from +5500 to +7000 but host Carolina in a potential winner-take-all NFC South showdown in Week 18. The Bucs are 5.5-point favorites at Miami in Week 17. The Seahawks head to Charlotte to face the Panthers on Sunday, and the game has serious implications for both teams. The Seahawks (12-3) are trying to retain their hold on the NFC's top seed, while the Panthers need a victory to keep their playoff hopes on track. In fact, a victory and a Buccaneers loss would give them the NFC South title. However, the Panthers are 7-point home underdogs.
The Eagles (10-5) can prove they are real contenders when the NFC East champions visit Buffalo to face the Bills on Sunday. The Eagles have won consecutive games after causing a bit of panic with their offensive inconsistency (and a three-game slide). Now they face another top contender on the road, and Buffalo (11-4) will be aiming to keep its hope of retaining the AFC East title alive. The Colts lost 48-27 to the 49ers on Monday Night Football and are on the brink of elimination. They need to keep winning (and get a lot of help), but knocking off the Jaguars on Sunday will be a tall task. Jacksonville (11-4) can clinch the AFC South with a victory, and the Jags are within striking distance of the AFC favorites after cruising past Denver on Sunday.
The Bears bring a ton of confidence into their matchup with fellow NFC contender San Francisco on Sunday. Chicago's overtime victory against the Packers last Saturday was a major boost for quarterback Caleb Williams and the offense, and the Bears will want to maintain the momentum against the 49ers. San Francisco has continued to win despite injuries on both sides of the ball, and they dismantled Philip Rivers and the Colts on Monday Night Football. San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy threw for 295 yards and five touchdowns as the Niners piled up 404 yards. But the 44-year-old Rivers threw for 277 yards and while the 49ers had two sacks Monday, the pass rush has been anemic. They have 18 sacks, seven fewer than any other team, so Williams and Co. might be liking their chances.
