On Tuesday, we told you about the top-selling NFL jerseys and how interesting it is that the four of the top five best sellers (Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow Robert Griffin III and Andrew Luck) had yet to play a down for their new team.
At least all of those names were spelled correctly.
Unlike, say, the email sent to Packers fans from NFLShop.com (h/t to PFT) in which they could buy an Aaron Rodgers jersey with the word “Rogers” on the back.
That’s Rogers without the “D.” Which is obviously a misspelling. Hell, he’s only one of the greatest quarterbacks in the game today. No need to spell his name right or anything.
And as newspapers around the country continue to cut staff, including much-needed copy editors, it’s clear those at NFLShop.com should go on a hiring splurge.
All of which led NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy to tweet the following.
thanks friens. yes, nflshop emaile a note to Packers istribution list & spelle QB's name wrong. yes we've seen iscount oublecheck as

Can you figure out which letter he didn’t include?
