The Detroit Lions are still searching for their first win of the season and they'll travel to face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon. The Lions are averaging just 18.2 points per game, while the Rams are scoring 29.8 points per contest. The Rams have won 10 of their last 13 games at home, while Detroit is just 1-6 in its last seven games on the road.

The Rams have the fourth-most sacks in the NFL this season with 18, the fourth-most interceptions with eight, and have forced the fifth-most turnovers with 10.

Los Angeles' defense forced three interceptions last week against the Giants, while giving up just 60 yards rushing. Plus, the Rams are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games against an opponent from the NFC. Los Angeles is also 6-3 against the spread in its last nine games played in October.

Goff, who was traded to Detroit by Los Angeles in the deal involving Stafford in the offseason, will now play against the Rams for the first time. He was selected first overall by the Rams in the 2016 NFL Draft. He had 18,171 pass yards and 117 TDs (107 passing) in 69 starts from 2016-20 and helped lead the team to Super Bowl LIII. Last week, Goff did not throw a TD pass and was intercepted once while passing for 202 yards vs. the Bengals. 

Detroit did not score in the first half for the third time in four weeks by the Bengals. The Lions have the NFL's longest active losing streak, at 10 games. D'Andre Swift has a TD in four of six games and is one of two NFC running backs with 200-plus rushing and 200-plus receiving yards.
