Report: 2013 video shows Saints LB Junior Galette hitting woman with belt
Junior Galette could be in some hot water with the NFL.

New Orleans Saints linebacker Junior Galette could be in hot water with the NFL soon after it was revealed on Saturday that he was one of several people involved in a 2013 fight that was posted to YouTube.
In the video, a man believed to be Galette is shown hitting a woman with a belt.
The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported on Saturday that not only is Galette one of the men in the video, but the NFL is aware of the video's existence and knows that Galette was involved in the melee.
According to ESPN.com, the Saints are the ones who actually sent the video to the NFL.
The video was posted to YouTube in March 2013, but at the time, no one in the video had been identified.
The man the Times-Picayune identifies as Galette is wearing a white shirt, white shorts and white shoes in the video.

In the one minute and 44-second video, Galette is shown hitting several people with a belt, including a woman. Galette also shoved a few people and threw at least one punch just after the 1:18 mark in the video.
The video comes at a precarious time for Galette. The Saints linebacker was charged with simple battery in Kenner, La., in January, although the charges were later dropped.
Despite the fact that the charges were dropped. Galette is still scheduled to meet with NFL officials sometime in late June to help determine whether or not he'll be punished.
Galette actually talked about the simple battery charge and the possibility of an NFL punishment earlier this week.
"As far as the news I've received, it's nothing but good news. Because obviously it didn't really look good on [the accuser's] part that the case got thrown before it even got to court," Galette said on June 17, via ESPN.com. "So as far as my agent and my lawyer's concerned, everything's good right now and we'll find out at the end of the month what's to be determined."
In the January case, the simple battery charge was dropped after the city attorney watched a cell phone video made by Galette and interviewed four witnesses who were at Galette's home
"Really, at this level, you can conduct yourself as a choir boy; sometimes the trouble comes to you," Galette said of staying out of trouble. "In that situation, there was nothing I could do. If I could do it all over again, there's not much different that I can do as far as what this person wants for me out of my life. You really don't know what are the warning signs for that, if somebody's going to cross you and try to take everything you have, basically."
Galette might avoid NFL punishment for the January incident, but it will be interesting to see how the league reacts to a violent video that's over two year's old.
You can see the video by heading over to YouTube here, but keep in mind, the video is violent and there is some strong language.
It's not clear when the Saints found out about the video, but the team likely didn't know in September when New Orleans signed Galette to a four-year, $41 million extension.
